Press Release: COVID-19 CASES

On 20th August 2020, Management of Saracen initiated a mandatory COVID-19 test to all employees as a precautionary measure to ensure that all staff are free from the pandemic. Interim results from Ministry of Health received indicate that six (6) of our staff tested positive for COVID-19.

The Six (6) employees were evacuated to Entebbe Grade B Hospital for further observation and treatment, while the rest of our Kampala Office staff have been requested to stay at home under the mandatory 14-days quarantine in line with our safety procedures and Ministry of Health guidelines.

In the meantime, we have disinfected our offices and further scaled down to critical staff to avoid congestion in office and direct contact. However, strict safety measures and SOP guidelines continue to be followed at our Head office in as well as the rest of our countrywide branches.
