POSITION DETAILS

JOB PURPOSE House keepers are responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the homeowner or Manager in charge. A good house keeper must be responsible, hardworking, trustworthy, honest and detail oriented.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that all rooms and areas surrounding the home are clean and welcoming to Guests at all times.

  • Performing housekeeping functions including preparing meals, drinks and other varieties, serving meals and ensuring cleanliness of utensils.

  • Responsible for inventory control of the food stocks and other logistical requirements.

  • Washing laundry including clothes, curtains, bedding and ironing laundry.

  • Sweeping scrubbing, cleaning and mopping floors of designated areas

  • Sweeping and mopping rooms.

  • Ensure cleanliness of the house at all times.

  • To ensure the efficient and effective running of housekeeping

  • Performing other duties as may be assigned from time to time

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Monthly Salary

  • Working Hours – 45 plus hours a week

  • Working Days – Monday – Saturday

  • Contract 2 years and renewable

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant academic transcripts/documents in housekeeping.

  • Prior experience in related housekeeping positions.
